I'm going faliraki this year with 9 mates, i wanted to malia but got out voted 9-1!! How was faliraki last year? I hear it's quite empty nowadays, this is very worrying! i spoke to a travel agent 2 days ago when making my final payment, they said malia was def the most pop destination for 2008, any1 going faliraki?! :S

def agree with paul.falraki had its days, was the resort 2 b around 2000-2002 but then it went quiet coz of all the shit and violence that was going on.its slowly making a comeback...u still will hav a great time, its hard not to with that many bars/clubs and alcohol...but yeah cat in abundance and proper high standards in malia...malia peeked 2005/6, think zante has been place 2 b 2007 and again 4 2008...kardamena always been a stedy resort and popularity rising highly there ova last few years

I went to Faliraki in July 2007 and it was a wicked holiday. We stayed in the same hotel, Olympia and its not a bad hotel for the price we paid but the manager is a bit of twat and if you mess around he is onto you str8 away.. He is not there some nights though and a man called 'Lakis' works on the night and he is a legend, makes u pizzas @ 5am, offers u fags etc. Faliraki is getting a lot more popular, the only bad side about it was that the clubs werent that busy and so lacked atmosphere...

(except for Q club in the cheese room which was always full and people dancing on bar) The place was ruined by media and one of the bar owners said to me 'club reps killed this place' but it is getting more and more better, i never saw any violence over there and the people were really friendly. Im off to Zante in June and its got alot to live up to as Faliraki was ace.
